Problem :
Being the head of the event team for HULT PRIZE 2025 on campus was both exciting and demanding. The biggest problem was coordinating a large event with limited time, multiple responsibilities, and different team members working on different tasks. It was challenging to make sure everything was properly planned, from venue arrangements and communication to managing participants and keeping the program running smoothly. At the same time, we wanted to create an event that would inspire students and reflect the true spirit of HULT PRIZE.
Solution :
To solve these issues, I focused on strong teamwork, clear communication, and proper planning. I divided responsibilities among team members according to their strengths, set deadlines for each task, and maintained regular updates to track progress. I also worked closely with other teams and volunteers to make sure every part of the event was organized properly. By staying calm and flexible, I was able to help the team handle tasks more efficiently and keep the event on schedule.
Challenge :
The biggest challenge was managing high levels of pressure and responsibility while ensuring flawless execution of a large-scale event. As the head of the event team, I had to deal with multiple unexpected issues simultaneously, such as last-minute schedule changes, communication gaps between sub-teams, and delays in task completion. Resource limitations and time constraints often made planning more difficult than expected, requiring quick adjustments and real-time decision-making.
Another major challenge was maintaining team coordination and motivation under stress. Not all team members were equally experienced, so I had to constantly guide, support, and sometimes reassign tasks to ensure efficiency. At peak moments, overlapping responsibilities and miscommunication created confusion that needed immediate resolution without disrupting the overall event flow. Balancing leadership, problem-solving, and emotional composure in such a high-pressure environment was demanding, but it significantly strengthened my ability to lead in complex situations.
Summary :
Overall, my HULT PRIZE 2025 on-campus experience was a valuable leadership journey. Serving as the head of the event team helped me improve my organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. It also gave me the opportunity to work with passionate people and contribute to a meaningful event that encouraged innovation and social impact. This experience made me more confident as a leader and taught me the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and dedication.
